Third Monday


I know it's Tuesday, but I measured myself yesterday. Here are my stats:


Weight: 209

BF%: 20.1%

Fat mass: 42.009lbs

TI: 165

So, I fell off the diet this week.  I have injured my rotator cuff and back and the pain involved helped me lose my appetite.  I didn't really eat much of anything, leading to 6lbs of weight loss, but only 2lbs of fat.  With the injury, I won't be doing much exercise for the next week or so at the minimum.

I forgot to save my individual inch measurements.  I think the gain was in my thighs, but I think I have standardized the measurement better using body landmarks, we'll see.

Back to Running

I put in slightly over 9 miles in this week, two nights of Volleyball, and rode the bike for a whopping 20 minutes. I did pick up a used Adams Trail-A-Bike and plan to get out with the kids a little more once my shims arrive.   Tomorrow is my measurement day.

It's Monday!

Here are my stats:
Weight: 217
BF%: 20.8%
Fat mass: 45.136lbs
TI: 162.5

Well, here is my baseline.  For my bodyfat measurements, I'm using the Omron HBF-306C Fat Loss Monitor.For my total inches, I am using a MyoTape Body Tape Measure. I have incorporated a few diet changes over the past month or so, but this is the first set of measurements.  We'll see how the next month goes.

Lunch and dinner



For lunch, I had a tasty Carne adovada burrito with refried beans from hacienda express.

Dinner was talapia parchment packets with coconut-almond sauce.  I tried to go light on the rice.  My bodyfat came in at 20.5%.  44.9 lbs of fat. 219 total weight.

Two eggs with red chili sauce.  Yummy.

Lunch

The usual eggs and bacon, but I added a few vegetables.   Also received my omron and body tape measure.  I should have numbers tomorrow morning.  I plan to have my numbers day on Mondays.

Dinner



Dinner is served.  Chicken with lentils and corn.  I did have half a slice of home made bread.

Bosque trail



Looks like the bosque trail is paved from montaño south.  I was able to do 4.67 miles of mixed running and walking.

Lunch



Half a chicken breast, 1c spinach, and 1/2c red beans.

Breakfast



Red chili eggs and turkey bacon with 4oz of crystal lite.

Soup



I had 2 bowls of chicken noodle soup and a slice of bread.


Afternoon snack



Mixed nuts.  Yum!  I ended up eating 3 of these spread out through the day.  I also had 4 cookies before going to bed.  I didn't get pics of those.

Getting serious

Well, I need to lose some weight.  I'm reading Four Hour Body  and one of my first steps is pictures.  My plan is to print them out as a reminder of my goal: 20#'s.

I have ordered an Omron BIA, Skinfold calipers, and a tape measure.  I'll add body composition numbers as I receive the tools.
